A chill Cocktail Bar in Tunsgate, made by a couple inspired by music, folklore and vague alcoholism. Serving an inovative seasonal cocktail menu with home made infusions and flavours, a carefully curated wine & beer selection, and ANY classic cocktail you could think of.
The Role
Start time: Beginning of June.
As part of the team at The Pocket, you will be trained in both Floor and Bar with an alternating rota. Of course, if your passion and skills lie with one side, then your rota can favour that section.
Floor
- Keep track of guests within different areas and comfortably follow reservation timings
- Make sure orders are taken and processed accurately and efficiently
- Retain a welcoming and vibrant attitude
- Obtain a deep understanding of the menu and what we can offer
Bar
- Give thoughtful drink recommendations (signature & classic)
- Make drinks with consistency and within good time
- Keep the bar stocked up and clean
- Opportunity to assist with seasonal menu updates.

What we're looking for..
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting
- A confident communicator with energy, warmth and personality
- Knowledge of classic cocktails
- Consistent availability on weekends and evenings (often until around 12am)
- A want to learn and a passion to be creative with us
- Good use of time management
- Familiarity with food safety standards
- Experience with booking systems
- Ability to stay alert and connected throughout a shift
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
