Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in the United Kingdom. Based in our facility, this role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. As part of our team, you will contribute to delivering top-quality smoked ingredients that meet our company's values.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Assist in installing new equipment and upgrades.
- Lead or supervise maintenance team members when required.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong electrical knowledge, including experience with programmable logic controllers.
- Mechanical skills with a good understanding of schematics and welding.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
