About the Role
We are looking for an experienced self-employed electrician to join our growing team carrying out electrical testing and remedial works within occupied social housing properties across West, SW and NW London.
This is a long-term opportunity with over 5 years remaining on the current contract, offering a consistent workload and excellent earning potential.
We currently have 7 electricians working on this contract, all earning between £1,200 and £1,800 per week depending on productivity.
Work Includes
- Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
- Remedial electrical works
- Smoke alarm installations and replacements
- Minor electrical repairs
- Working within occupied social housing properties
- Completing certification and paperwork via handheld device/app

Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing qualification preferred
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own van and tools
- Public Liability Insurance
- Experience carrying out EICRs and remedial works
- Good customer service skills when working in occupied homes
Ideal Candidate
You'll be reliable, organised and confident working independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service. Experience within social housing or domestic maintenance is highly desirable.
