We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team.
The successful candidate will provide support to pupils in the classroom and wider school environment, helping them to access learning and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide individual and small-group support, particularly for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
- Assist pupils to access the curriculum and participate in learning activities.
- Support pupils with communication, social and emotional development.
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
- Adapt support and activities to meet individual learning needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other members of the school team.
- Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and confidentiality.
