Duties
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of breakfast items, including hot dishes, eggs, pancakes, and other morning favorites
- Ensure all food preparation meets safety and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to maintain high-quality offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Coordinate with serving staff to ensure timely delivery of breakfast orders
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow recipes precisely to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety practices and food hygiene standards
- Experience with meal preparation for large groups or buffet-style service is preferred
- Familiarity with culinary techniques used in breakfast cuisine
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous restaurant experience demonstrating teamwork, reliability, and adaptability
- Basic understanding of serving procedures to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
