Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable, capable all-rounder to assist a busy professional couple with the smooth running of their home. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring a high standard of work and a proactive approach.
Key Duties
- Weeding and general tidying (~2-3 hours per week)
- Seasonal work (e.g. leaves, sweeping, jet washing as required) - 2-3 hours per week
- Running errands (post office, groceries, etc.) - as needed.
- Window cleaning (periodic) - 2 hours per week but variable
- Laundry assist - to be careful with washing, drying hanging out to dry, ironing and folding clothes and kit.
- Internal cleaning of kitchen and general housework.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong English communication skills
- Highly reliable and organised
- Flexible but able to commit to agreed weekly schedule
- Practical, detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and high standards
- Experience of the external cleaning mowing lawns, weeding etc.

- Must be local to SO51 - these are 4 hour shifts so you must live within a 20 min drive or be happy driving further to get to the house.
We have been let down by staff not being reliable, wanting days off when it rains, is too hot, too cold etc. This doesn't work. We need very reliable, committed person who wants to work and do a good job. There are opportunities for more hours and variety of work for a hardworking, competent person. We discourage the use of phones on site unless essential so if you are someone who is constantly on your phone, please do not apply. We do need people who are local to apply as it would not be worth driving from Dorset, Poole, Bournemouth etc for 4 hours work and the late finish on Tue and Thurs evening would make that unworkable.
