PrimeFix Group Ltd is a growing property services company providing professional drainage, leak detection, plumbing, heating and electrical services across London and the surrounding areas.
As our drainage services continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our team.
This is a field-based role for someone who is confident working independently, has strong practical skills and takes pride in delivering a professional service to customers.
The Role
You will attend residential properties to investigate, diagnose and resolve a range of drainage issues, from blockages and damaged pipework through to CCTV surveys, repairs and drain relining.
You will be responsible for completing jobs efficiently and safely while providing a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend properties to investigate and resolve drainage issues
- Carry out drain unblocking and clearance
- Diagnose blockages, damaged pipework and drainage problems
- Carry out CCTV drainage surveys
- Locate and identify drainage defects
- Carry out drainage repairs and remedial works
- Carry out drain relining where required
- Prepare and install suitable drain lining systems
- Use professional drainage equipment to identify and resolve issues
- Explain findings and recommended works clearly to customers
- Complete digital job reports, including photographs and relevant documentation
- Manage your daily workload and attend scheduled appointments on time
- Maintain and look after the company van and equipment provided
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures
Requirements
The successful candidate should have:
- Previous experience as a Drainage Engineer
- Practical experience with domestic drainage systems
- Experience carrying out drain unblocking and clearance
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience using professional drainage equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional and reliable approach to work

- Drain relining and patch repairs
- CCTV drainage surveys
- High-pressure water jetting
- Drain tracing and locating
- Drain repairs and remedial works
- Experience with underground drainage systems
- Experience using specialist drainage equipment

The Person We’re Looking For

You should be comfortable working independently, dealing directly with customers and finding practical solutions to drainage problems on site.
