We are seeking an experienced Flooring Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will involve overseeing large, complex commercial flooring projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations on large and complex flooring projects
- Supervise site teams and subcontractors to ensure programmes and targets are met
- Complete daily site reports, including progress updates, labour levels, and issues
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control throughout the project
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
- Carry out toolbox talks, and ongoing H&S monitoring
- Manage inspections and final sign-offs with clients and main contractors
- Liaise closely with Senior Management
- Provide clear feedback to management and QS teams on progress, risks, variations, and resource needs
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Flooring Supervisor or similar role within commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of flooring installations and sequencing
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety on live construction sites
- Confident communicator with strong reporting skills
- Client-facing experience essential
- SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
- CSCS card essential (First Aid an advantage)
