Support Worker – Longnewton (Scottish Borders)
We are looking for you to be an ambassador for the support and care of individuals with autism.
We understand that people with autism may see, experience and understand the world around them in a different way to people without autism. We gain an understanding of each person, enabling us to know how we must change in order to communicate successfully and to provide the best support for them.
To succeed, you’ll need:
- At least 6 months’ previous UK Care Experience
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans.
- Monitor clients’ health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with team members.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
