This is a rare opportunity for an experienced beauty therapist who’s ready to take the next step into leadership while continuing to work on the treatment floor. As Thrive continues to grow, the right person will have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility, influence the creative direction of the salon and play a key role in shaping its future.
The Role:
This is a hands-on leadership position. Alongside managing and supporting the team, you’ll continue to deliver a high standard of beauty treatments and build your own loyal client base.
We’re looking for someone who leads by example, isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, and is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for every client who walks through our doors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering professional beauty treatments to an exceptional standard.
- Leading, motivating and supporting the beauty team.
- Helping manage the day-to-day running of the salon.
- Ensuring consistently exceptional customer service.
- Coaching and developing team members.
- Assisting with recruitment, inductions and performance reviews.
- Helping implement new systems and improve existing processes.
- Monitoring appointment books, productivity and treatment standards.
- Supporting retail sales and treatment promotions.
- Maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness, presentation and professionalism.
- Managing stock levels and ordering where required.
- Assisting with rotas and staffing.
- Working closely with the owners to achieve business goals.
- Bringing fresh ideas to enhance the client journey and elevate the Thrive experience.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification.
- Proven experience delivering a broad range of beauty treatments confidently and to an exceptional standard.
- Previous leadership, supervisory or management experience (or clear evidence you’re ready to step into a leadership role).
- A genuine passion for customer care, team development and the beauty industry.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to take ownership and make decisions.
Desirable
- Experience within a luxury salon or spa environment.
- Retail sales experience.
- Experience training or mentoring other therapists.
- A passion for creating memorable client experiences and continually raising standards.
