Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring all food items meet safety and quality standards
- Serve meals to guests in a friendly, professional manner, maintaining excellent customer service and communication skills
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks, such as assembling plates or portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations at all times
- Help with the delivery of meals within the facility or designated areas, utilizing delivery driver experience if applicable
- Follow proper phone etiquette when communicating with staff or guests over the phone
- Support the team during busy meal times by managing guest inquiries and ensuring timely service
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or food preparation is highly desirable
- Kitchen experience or culinary background will be advantageous for understanding food safety and meal assembly processes
- Delivery driver experience can be beneficial for supporting meal distribution tasks
- Experience working in hotel or guest services environments enhances guest interaction skills
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and guest engagement
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures is required to ensure health regulations are met
- Familiarity with serving techniques, phone etiquette, and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure will contribute to success in this role
Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
