We are launching Gutter Assure, a professional gutter-cleaning service, and are looking for a confident, friendly and reliable Door-to-Door Canvasser / Field Sales Representative to join our growing team.
This is a straightforward field-sales role.
Our marketing team will leaflet selected residential areas before we arrive. You will then visit those streets, introduce Gutter Assure to homeowners and offer our professional gutter-cleaning service at clear, fixed prices.
There are no complicated quotations and no hard selling.
Our gutter-cleaning team will be working nearby, allowing customers to have their gutters professionally cleaned while we're operating in their area.
What you'll be doing
- Knocking on doors in pre-selected residential areas
- Speaking confidently and professionally with homeowners
- Explaining our gutter-cleaning service
- Offering our clear, fixed-price packages
- Booking interested customers directly into our system
- Keeping our gutter-cleaning team supplied with new jobs
- Recording outcomes from the properties you visit
- Representing Gutter Assure professionally at all times
Our prices are simple
2 gutters — £69
3 gutters — £79
4 gutters — £89
This makes the service straightforward to explain to customers without lengthy quotations.
What we're looking for
You don't necessarily need previous guttering or roofing experience.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Confident speaking to new people
- Friendly and approachable
- Comfortable knocking on doors
- Positive and self-motivated
- Presentable and professional
- Reliable
- Comfortable using a smartphone
- Motivated by targets and bonuses
Previous experience in door-to-door sales, canvassing, field sales, fundraising, utilities, home improvements, telecoms or similar roles would be an advantage, but isn't essential for the right person.
Pay
£13.00 per hour basic pay
PLUS performance bonuses for completed jobs
The better the team performs, the more you can earn.
You are not relying solely on commission — you receive an hourly wage while also having the opportunity to increase your earnings through results.

Our aim is to provide homeowners with a convenient service — not high-pressure doorstep selling.
The opportunity
We're initially launching one Gutter Assure team in the North West, with plans to expand into additional areas if the model performs successfully.
For someone who performs well, there may be opportunities to progress into Senior Canvasser, Team Leader or Area Sales Manager positions as we grow.
