Summary
We are seeking an experienced ESOL Teacher to teach classes, mostly pre-beginners and beginners on Tuesday and Wednesdays in term time 10am - 12pm (free lunch) and 12.30pm - 2.30pm. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting skill development in English language as well as demonstrating empathy and contributing to enhancing the wellbeing of participants.
Responsibilities
- Plan implement engaging educational programs tailored to the needs of diverse learners and effective in the development of English language
- Provide tutoring and support to adults, fostering their academic and personal growth
- Communicate effectively with students to build strong relationships.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure success.
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring English as an additional language with adults
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to differentiate and meet the needs of a diverse group of learners
- Ability to engage students through effective, engaging methods
- A passion for community work and improving the lives of others
