Lincolnshire Herbs is a leading supplier of living herbs and cut herbs. We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical and mechanical bias to join our dynamic team.
Working Hours - 40 hours per week, Lates 6pm to 3am
Working Days Sunday to Thursday
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of machinery, site equipment, and building infrastructure.
- Support production by responding quickly to breakdowns and maintenance requests.
- Coordinate with contractors on-site and ensure compliance with permits and safety procedures.
- Maintain and improve the site’s Preventative Maintenance Programme.
- Complete maintenance logs, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with BRC and customer standards.
- Promote continuous improvement, 5S practices, and sustainable engineering solutions.
- Participate in a call-out rota and provide cover for the Engineering Manager when required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical engineering skills.
- Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
