What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded litigator who is passionate about delivering excellent results for clients.
You will ideally have:
- Qualified Solicitor status or equivalent litigation experience
- Experience managing your own litigation caseload
- Strong knowledge of dispute resolution procedures
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to provide clear, practical, and commercially focused advice
- Strong client care and communication skills
- A confident and organised approach with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team
Duties
- Assist in managing all stages of litigation cases from initiation through resolution, including preparing legal documents and filings
- Responsible for a high volume caseload of Fast Track Personal Injury RTA claims, making use of the firm’s Case Management Systems and using the agreed internal procedures and practices.
- Handle a broad spectrum of disputes, including breach of contract, landlord tenant, professional negligence, partnership and shareholder conflicts, boundary disputes, rent arrears.
- Coordinate with clients, external counsel, courts, and other parties to facilitate case progress and gather necessary information
- Maintain accurate case files and documentation using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Monitor deadlines and court schedules diligently to ensure timely submissions and compliance with legal requirements
- Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to support case strategies
- Draft correspondence, reports, summaries, and other legal documents with clarity and precision
- Support the legal team in organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and managing schedules efficiently
Pay: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
