Job Summary
We are a CQC-registered, physician-led healthcare provider delivering personalised clinical care to patients in their own homes and the community.
We work with private patients who expect a high level of clinical expertise, communication and service. Our multidisciplinary team supports patients before and after surgery, as well as those requiring rehabilitation and ongoing support for complex medical conditions.
We are expanding our physiotherapy team and are looking for experienced Senior Physiotherapists who are confident working independently with private clients in their homes.
1. Senior Cardiac Rehabilitation Physiotherapist
We are looking for an experienced physiotherapist with a strong background in cardiac rehabilitation and cardiopulmonary physiotherapy.
You will work with patients following cardiac surgery, cardiac events and other cardiovascular conditions, supporting them through a structured rehabilitation pathway and helping them regain confidence, function and independence.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy and functional assessments in patients' homes
- Deliver personalised cardiac rehabilitation programmes
- Support patients following cardiac surgery, including CABG and valve surgery
- Provide exercise prescription and graded rehabilitation
- Monitor exercise tolerance, symptoms and clinical response
- Liaise closely with our doctors and wider MDT
- Identify clinical deterioration or concerns and escalate appropriately
- Educate patients and families regarding safe exercise, recovery and lifestyle
- Document assessments, treatment plans and progress to a high clinical standard
- Communicate effectively with consultants, GPs and other healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the development of our cardiac rehabilitation pathways and services
Essential
- HCPC registration
- Relevant physiotherapy qualification
- Significant post-registration experience
- Strong experience in cardiac rehabilitation and/or cardiopulmonary physiotherapy
- Experience working with medically complex patients
- Excellent clinical reasoning and risk assessment skills
- Confidence working independently in patients' homes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable and highly organised
- Comfortable working with private clients who expect a premium level of service
Desirable
- BACPR experience or training
- Experience following cardiac surgery
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary private healthcare environment
- Experience working with consultants and private hospitals
- Additional respiratory/cardiopulmonary rehabilitation experience
2. Senior Physiotherapist
This is a varied rehabilitation role working with patients who may have complex medical needs, reduced mobility, deconditioning or functional limitations following illness, hospitalisation or surgery.
You will assess patients, establish individualised rehabilitation goals and deliver structured programmes designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, independence, confidence and overall function.
You will work closely with our doctors and wider multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, speech and language therapists and rehabilitation specialists.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy and functional assessments in patients' homes
- Develop personalised rehabilitation plans based on individual goals and clinical needs
- Deliver one-to-one rehabilitation programmes
- Work with patients following surgery, hospitalisation or significant illness
- Support patients with deconditioning, reduced mobility, weakness and loss of independence
- Develop strength, balance, mobility and functional exercise programmes
- Support safe progression towards independence and return to normal activities
- Monitor clinical progress and modify rehabilitation programmes accordingly
- Identify clinical deterioration or concerns and escalate appropriately
- Work collaboratively with our doctors and wider MDT
- Communicate with consultants, GPs and other healthcare professionals where appropriate
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Maintain accurate, high-quality clinical documentation
- Contribute to the development of our rehabilitation pathways and programmes
The patients
Our patients are predominantly private clients and may include:
- Patients recovering following major surgery
- Patients recently discharged from hospital
- Patients experiencing deconditioning following illness or prolonged hospitalisation
- Older adults requiring rehabilitation to regain independence
- Patients with neurological or functional impairments
- Patients with complex medical needs
- Patients requiring longer-term rehabilitation and support
- Patients preparing to return to normal activity following significant illness or surgery
Essential
- HCPC registration

- Ability to travel across London for home visits
Desirable
- Experience in rehabilitation following major surgery
- Neurological rehabilitation experience

- Additional qualifications in rehabilitation, strength and conditioning or exercise prescription

This is not a suitable role for newly qualified physiotherapists.
