About the Role
As a MilkShed Supervisor at Alston Dairy, you will be trained to work in various areas of the business. We are an ambitious company with big plans and are looking for people who can grow with us.
We are actively looking for hardworking, reliable and energetic individuals who are eager to make a positive contribution to our fantastic team within the Yogurt Manufacturing facility and within various Dairy related projects, such as ‘The MilkShed’.
What will I be doing?
The role will be varied and will include training to work in multiple areas of the business. Primarily this the role will be active involved in ‘The MilkShed’ project.
As the “Face of the MilkShed” and other customer facing projects, you will be a key communicator between stores and MilkShed project concepts, ideas, events and general operations.
As the MilkShed Supervisor, you will:
- Act as a key contributor to event and promotional planning, liaising with the marketing team and Alston Site Manager.
- Be actively involved in an events calendar, in particular at the dairy site but facilitating store involvement when needed.
- Provide store support, liaising with stores regarding problems, issues and challenges.
- Generate and facilitate marketing content in support of the marketing department.
- Assist with the planning of milk production in line with Milkshed project requirements.
- Cover MilkShed staffing at Alston Dairy, ensuring that shifts are covered.
- Report any problems and liaise with internal maintenance and third parties to ensure timely diagnosis and rectification.
- Support the Site Manager with other Dairy related projects.
- Report into and work with the Site Manager to implement ideas that drive MilkShed sales but also drive visitors into store.
- Drive high standards through the training of others.
A Few Things About You
No experience is required, however it would be advantageous if applicants are upbeat, positive and confident engaging with customers.
Whilst prior experience is not essential, we are looking for hardworking, reliable and positive individuals who are eager to learn and grow with the business.
Due to the travel requirements of this role, a full UK driving license and access to own vehicle is required.
