Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our small team in managing stock and fulfilling orders in our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for materials handling, heavy lifting, and utilising warehouse management systems to ensure efficient operations.The candidate should be competent driving and using , a forklift truck
Duties:- Handle and move materials within the warehouse- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required- Utilise warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and order fulfilment- Manage stock levels and assist in stock rotation- Utilise mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and maintenance- Assist in shipping and receiving processes- Build pallets for outgoing orders- Familiarity with driving a forklift is advantageous- Engage in picking and packing activities
Skills:- Proficient in materials handling techniques- Capable of heavy lifting on a regular basis- Experience with warehouse management systems- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures- Mechanical aptitude for equipment operation and maintenance- Proficient in shipping, receiving, stock management, and order fulfilment processes- Ability to build pallets accurately for shipment- - Skilled in picking and packing tasks
