Sky Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client based in Heanor.
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Assembly Operatives to join a busy, fast-paced production environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for full-time, long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
The Role
As an Assembly Operative, you'll work as part of a busy production team assembling a variety of products using hand and power tools.
Your duties will include:
- Assembling products using hand and power tools
- Loading and unloading materials
- Carrying out manual handling duties – some items can be repetitive and heavy
- Operating machinery where required
- Supporting different areas of production when needed
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who are reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
You'll need to be:
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to work at pace while maintaining good quality standards
- Flexible and willing to support different areas of production
- A good team player
Previous assembly, production, manufacturing or warehouse experience would be beneficial.
