About the Role:

We deliver high-efficiency solar and battery storage solutions that perform reliably for decades. We believe that clean energy engineering should never settle for "good enough." We are looking for a Solar Qualified Installer (m/f/d) who can take ownership of our on-site installation quality. You aren't just mounting panels; you are defining our operational excellence on the roof and at the consumer unit. You will lead on-site installations, bridging the gap between technical schematics and safe, precision execution. You are the champion for craftsmanship and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- System Installation: Mount solar PV array hardware, fit DC cabling, and connect inverters and battery systems to precise technical specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all electrical and structural work complies with 18th Edition wiring standards and MCS guidelines.
- Safety & Compliance: Conduct site risk assessments (RAMS) and uphold strict Working at Heights protocols on every project.
- Testing & Handoff: Perform system testing, fault diagnosis, and complete accurate commissioning documentation for handover.
- Customer Representation: Speak clearly with property owners on site, explaining system basics and treating their premises with care.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: Proven hands-on background in residential or commercial solar PV installation and roof mounting.
- Qualifications: Relevant electrical or trade certifications (NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, City & Guilds 2365/2330, or equivalent MCS-recognised training).
- Certifications: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and Working at Heights certification are highly desirable.
- Licence: A valid UK Driving Licence is essential for regional site travel around Bristol and the South West.
- Mindset: You are practical and safety-minded. You know how to balance swift progress with uncompromising quality standards.
Pay: £32,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
