Williams Electrical Contractors (Cymru) Ltd is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Technical Documentation Coordinator to support both our Electrical and Renewables divisions.
This is a key administrative role responsible for producing and managing technical documentation for completed projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering professional handover documentation to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit MCS certification paperwork for renewable energy installations.
- Produce high-quality Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals for electrical installation projects.
- Compile project handover packs and completion documentation.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant and issued within project deadlines.
- Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, electricians and office staff to obtain the required project information.
- Maintain organised digital records of project documentation.
- Assist with DNO applications and supporting documentation where required.
- Support both the Electrical and Renewables teams with project administration.
- Ensure company documentation is presented to a high professional standard.
Essential Requirements
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong administration and document management experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience preparing MCS certification paperwork.
- Experience producing Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.
- Previous experience within the electrical, construction or renewable energy sectors.
- Knowledge of Solar PV and Battery Storage systems.
- Understanding of electrical project documentation and handover requirements.
