Education Training Lead
Job purpose
Defines and leads the site ET roadmap to build organizational capability and support CBN and business objectives. As the ET Pillar Leader and regional ET CoD member, ensures workforce capability is developed in line with ET strategy, standards, and governance within the MSE framework.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Strategic ET Leadership MSE Business Partnership
- Drive Site Capability Strategy: Serve as the primary strategic partner and subject matter expert (SME) to the Site Leadership Team, steering the Mars Supply Excellence (MSE) Education Training (ET) pillar.
- Define Capability Frameworks: Design, implement, and govern the factory capability framework in strict alignment with MSE guidelines; establish clear role definitions, standardized skill assessment processes, and highly visible site-wide training matrices across all value streams.
- Manage ET Budget: Architect, negotiate, and govern the site training budget to ensure alignment with the site financial plan while maximizing return on learning investment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Standardization
- Standardize Learning Processes: Partner closely with regional and local SMEs, Value Stream Managers, and Team Leaders to establish, maintain, and audit sustainable site-level ET process standards.
- Systematize Knowledge Flow: Own and optimize the site’s structured onboarding, cross-training, knowledge capture, and knowledge transfer programs to ensure standard work is consistently sustained.
- Manage External Vendors: Source, evaluate, and manage strategic partnerships with external training providers to supplement internal capabilities where required.
Training Execution, Tooling Technology
- Deploy Digital Learning Tools: Design, implement, and facilitate engaging learning tools, utilizing the Learning Management System (LMS) to track, measure, and scale shop-floor capability.
- Deliver Hands-on Training: Deliver high-impact training on core operational topics (including Quality Food Safety (QFS), Structured Problem Solving, and Autonomous Maintenance (AM)) and spearheadTrain-the-Trainer programs to build a self-sustaining coaching culture.
Team Leadership Business Continuity
- Lead and Develop People: Direct and coach the site Training Coordinators, ensuring they effectively execute job assessments to validate shop-floor skills.
- Mitigate Capability Risks: Proactively analyze skill gaps and training matrices to update curriculum, safeguard business continuity, and directly support site performance targets.
What are we looking for?
- University degree in a technical field
- Severalconsistant years of experience in Supply/Manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of TPM, Lean, and Operational Excellence principles
- Experience with competency-based training, skill matrices, and learning systems
