Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Business Support Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis, working 12 hours per week as part of a job share. The role is worked over two days per week, with a 6 hour shift on Thursday and a 6 hour shift on Friday. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with administrative experience and strong organisational skills to contribute to the smooth operation of our business. The ideal candidate will be proficient in office software, possess excellent communication skills, and be capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. This position is paid on a pro-rata basis and is suitable for those seeking a flexible part-time working arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to various departments, ensuring efficient daily operations
- Manage data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office
- Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating good phone etiquette
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings and maintaining calendars
- Prepare and organise documents, reports, and correspondence as required
- Maintain organised electronic and physical filing systems
- Collaborate with team members to improve administrative processes and workflows
Qualifications
- Proven office experience or administrative background is preferred
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good data entry accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally via phone and email
- Previous clerical experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Pay: £26,000.00 per year
