We're looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team at Brewery Bar. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and wants to be part of a supportive team. As a Kitchen Porter, you'll play a vital role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly by supporting the chefs and ensuring the kitchen, equipment, and utensils are kept clean, organised, and ready for service, helping to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and back of house areas
Assist with basic food preparation when required
Receive and correctly store deliveries
Dispose of waste safely and ensure recycling procedures are followed
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Willingness to learn and support the wider kitchen team
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential
