We've an exciting new opportunity for a driven and hardworking person to join our front of house team at the Royal, Bolton-le-Sands. Benefitting from a £500,000 refurb, The Royal is a very successful & busy gastro pub in the village of Bolton-le-Sands. Serving a mixture of pub classics alongside more refined restaurant style dishes in a comfortable & modern interior, we've carved out a great reputation in delivering consistently high standards of excellence.
The successful applicant must have flexible availability and must be available both during the week and at weekends for a range of different shifts. We're after someone who can both be professional as well as someone with a great personality and the confidence to be a great communicator with staff and customers alike .
- Full table service
- Taking food & drinks orders
- Dispensing drinks & taking out food
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant & bar area
- Looking after guests in a courteous & professional manner
- Dealing with payments & customer enquiries
- Taking instructions from the senior management team & working as part of a large team
The Right applicant will need to approach work with a positive 'can do' attitude & strong work ethic. Because we're based in a village, the ideal candidate will need access to their own transport or a lift as local public transport does not always cover all the shift hours.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience
- Proficient in serving and guest services
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Strong time management skills
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations
- Understanding of hospitality principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
