We are now looking for a Driver to join our team at our Exeter branch.
This is a varied and hands-on role where you will spend much of your day on the road delivering products to customers across the region. As the face of our branch, you will play an important role in ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and with excellent customer service.
The Role
As a Driver, your responsibilities will include:
· Making deliveries to customers, ensuring goods arrive safely and on time
· Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining vehicle cleanliness
· Loading and unloading the vehicle safely and efficiently
· Assisting with picking and packing orders in the warehouse when required
· Supporting goods-in processes and general warehouse duties
· Providing friendly, professional customer service during deliveries and on the trade counter
· Helping maintain accurate delivery paperwork and branch administration
· Supporting stock checks and annual stock take activities
· Working closely with the branch team to ensure excellent service for customers
What We Are Looking For
· A full UK driving licence
· A reliable and responsible approach to driving and deliveries
· Good communication and customer service skills
· A team player who is happy to support warehouse and branch operations
· Ability to organise deliveries and work efficiently throughout the day
Full training will be provided.
What We Offer
- Salary: £28,089 per annum
- 42.5 hours per week
- Core hours are 7:30am – 5:00pm, however you will work a flexible 8.5‑hour shift between 6:00am and 6:00pm
- Participation in the branch call‑out rota is required
- 25 days holiday, increasing to 30 after 5 years
