As an Associate in the EMEA Credit Trading Risk and P&L team, you will play a key role in supporting the European Credit Markets business. You will work closely with colleagues across Sales & Trading, Valuations, Business Management, Market Risk, and Technology, gaining valuable insight into the full trade lifecycle. You will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, while developing your analytical and problem-solving skills. Job responsibilities:

Report on the daily basis of PNL & risk exposures to the trading desk, demonstrating understanding of the terms and calculations to produce them.

Uphold the minimum standard in order to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the businesses books and records.

Provide commentary to accompany P&L, linking trading revenues to desk strategies and changes in market conditions.

Work closely with Traders, Trader Assistants, Financial Control, Valuation Control and External Reporting team to ensure that Month End numbers are correct and correctly represented across all systems.

Work on various projects including enhancements to the Risk and PNL aggregators.

Ensure adherence to internal and external regulation including Antitrust compliance.

Challenge and improve existing processes.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Experience working in the financial industry with exposure to accounting & financial statements

Strong skills in time management, problem solving, written and oral communication

Team player, with ability to work effectively across diverse functions, locations and businesses

Excellent Excel and computer skills

Strong analytical skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Project management experience/skills helpful

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

Experience in Product Control, Financial Control would be a plus
