Overview
This role can be worked over a 4 day week, with shifts of 7:45-6, or can be more hours over 5 days but you must be able to do both 7:45am starts and 6pm finishes. From 39-45 hours a week.
Must hold a full and relevant Early Years qualification level 3 as a minimum.
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Senior Management Team Leader of Care and Learning to drive excellence across our care home operations. This pivotal role combines leadership and a passion for delivering outstanding early years care and learning experiences. You will inspire and guide our team, ensuring the delivery of child-centered care and Education while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the team to uphold high standards of care, safety, and learning within the nursery setting.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safeguarding policies, and best practices in Early Years care and Education
- Foster effective communication across teams, residents, families, and external professional to promote transparency and trust.
- Supervise daily operations, including staffing, training, meetings with professionals and families
- Drive initiatives that enhance staff supervision, professional growth, and team cohesion through coaching and mentoring.
- Utilise IT systems effectively for documentation, reporting, and quality assurance purposes.
- Promote a positive learning environment by encouraging continuous professional development for staff members.
- Maintain a safe environment by implementing health and safety protocols diligently.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within an early years setting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and foster a collaborative work culture.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with families, staff, and external agencies.
- Knowledge of IT systems used in early years environments for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Valid driving license preferred for community engagement activities.
Pay: £30,142.00-£36,831.00 per year
