This role sits within our established parks tennis programme in Norwich, Norfolk. You will work closely with the Senior Coach and wider coaching team to expand participation and support the continued growth of tennis opportunities across the city.
The position is predominantly on-court, beginning with 20 hours of group coaching per week, with further earning potential through individual lessons. As the programme develops, the role is expected to progress towards 25 core group hours, alongside regular one-to-one coaching.
Weekly delivery includes mini tennis, junior groups, adult coaching sessions, school delivery and individual lessons. You may also have the chance to assist with holiday camps and occasional competitions.
An LTA Level 2 qualification is preferred, though training support can be provided for committed candidates. A structured onboarding process is in place to help new coaches integrate smoothly into the programme.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Coach in delivering a high-quality, inclusive programme suitable for all ages and playing levels
- Deliver a minimum of 20 hours of junior, adult and school coaching weekly, with availability for individual lessons
- Monitor the programme’s progress and make informed adjustments to encourage continued participation growth
- Complete additional team duties as required

Person Specification
- LTA Level 2 qualification or higher (training available for those working towards this)
- Experience coaching a broad range of sessions
- Understanding of LTA frameworks and experience working in club or park environments
- Reliable transport to venues; local candidates or those able to commute effectively are preferred
