Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Calibration Technician / Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex measurement and control instruments. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and reliability of equipment critical to our operations, supporting quality assurance and compliance standards. Responsibilities
- Conduct calibration, adjustment, and verification of various mechanical, electrical, and electronic instruments using detailed schematics and technical documentation.
- Utilize AutoCAD to review and modify calibration layouts and schematics for improved accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of calibration procedures, results, and equipment history in compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical circuits, and mechanical components to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance on calibration equipment and related instrumentation to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop calibration procedures, test plans, and process improvements.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating technical information clearly and supporting internal teams or clients with calibration-related inquiries.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Calibration Technician or Engineer with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD for designing or reviewing calibration layouts is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their integration within measurement systems.
- Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance tasks on complex instrumentation with precision.
- Strong electrical knowledge including circuit troubleshooting, wiring, and component testing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively across teams.
