Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Weekend Housekeeper/Server to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and cleanliness to contribute to a welcoming environment. The position involves providing exceptional service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness during weekend shifts, ensuring guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Previous hotel or janitorial experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities in accordance with established standards
- Serve meals and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner during weekend shifts
- Restock supplies and ensure all areas are well-presented and hygienic
- Assist guests with enquiries, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including dining spaces and kitchens
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service throughout the shift

Requirements
- Help serve breakfast, take orders and clear tables
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality roles is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Experience in janitorial work or cleaning services is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Friendly, approachable demeanour with strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively during weekends, particularly on Saturdays and Sundays
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
