Hiring for an Optical Assistant at an independent & socially conscious chain of opticians. Responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day management of the practice & clinics
- Admin work, including booking patients into clinics
- Dispensing/Styling frames for patients (training available)
As a small but growing company, there are unlimited opportunities to grow, contribute your own ideas and take on further responsibility, with compensation. There is scope to take on Managerial responsibilities too.

Qualifications:
- Optical experience is preferred, but we welcome quick learners with a passion for all things optical. Self-agency, a willingness to learn & a great attitude are more important than a specific degree or qualification.
- A genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain optical concepts in a friendly and understandable manner.
- Multitasking abilities and a knack for staying organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Relatively computer savvy (using a Windows PC/tablet for email, searches, Google documents & basic admin)
