Duties
- Lead engaging martial arts classes for students of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and motivating environment
- Demonstrate proper techniques, stances, forms, and sparring methods with clarity and enthusiasm
- Develop customized training plans that align with students’ goals and progress levels
- Monitor student performance, provide constructive feedback, and track their development over time
- Maintain a clean, organized training area and ensure all equipment is safe and well-maintained
- Foster a respectful and disciplined atmosphere that encourages teamwork, confidence, and personal growth
- Promote the benefits of martial arts for health, self-defense, discipline, and self-esteem
Qualifications
- Proven sports coaching experience or background in martial arts training with demonstrable teaching skills
- Strong knowledge of martial arts techniques, forms, sparring protocols, and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct students of diverse ages and backgrounds
- Ability to motivate students while maintaining discipline and focus during classes
- Certification in relevant martial arts disciplines is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is a plus
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring others to reach their full potential
