We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Scissor Manufacturers. Responsibilities
- Assist in the fabrication of scissors, including cutting, shaping, and assembling components
- Safely operate machinery in the manufacture of the scissors
- Operate hand tools and basic tooling equipment safely and effectively
- Participate in the assembly of scissors, following technical drawings and specifications
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to uphold safety standards
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times during manufacturing processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on workflow and processes
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles and metalworking techniques
- Experience or familiarity with fabrication, grinding, welding, or assembly is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Good organisational skills and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Enthusiastic attitude towards learning new skills within a manufacturing environment
