Main Duties
Undertake duties in line with Mitie's H&S policies and procedures
Complete PPM's and Reactive works in line with contract KPI's & SLA's
Complete Work Record Sheets/Certification/Log Books as necessary ensuring all records are accurate and up to date
Undertake other small tasks such as plumbing and fabric tasks as requested
Ensure that all company issued equipment is kept secure and in excellent condition (Tools, Test Equipment, PPE, Equipment)
Ensure all operational procedures are adhered to at all times.
Ensure the clients premises is maintained to the highest standard by taking a proactive approach to repairs
Provide operational support, information and reports as requested by your line manager
Assist with the management of sub-contractor related works so there is minimum impact to the client. Review RAMS and escort sub-contractors where required.
Attend site meetings and training when required.
Attend training courses applicable to your role and as the company deems necessary
Obtain quotes for materials and equipment to carry out repair works.
When requested prepare and submit various reports (operational, accident, incident reports)
Be available/flexible to carry out necessary works outside normal hours with additional remuneration
Escalate any issues to the line manager to provide early warning of defects
Participate in appraisels (MiReviews) and 1-2-1's.
Support and assist other team members when requested
Any other reasonable requests from the Supervisor / Line Manager
What we are looking for
Electrical qualification to C&G Tech standard / Levels 1,2 & 3
Health & Safety qualification/certificate
Sound knowledge of building services / plant & systems including:
Heating & Chilled systems
UPS & Generator systems
Air distribution systems
Domestic water systems
PC literate (Outlook/Word/Excel)
The ability to work on your own or within a team
