Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics to ensure accurate installations.
- Maintain compliance with all safety standards and electrical codes during every project.
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Document all work performed, including repairs, inspections, and upgrades for record-keeping purposes.
- Assist in upgrading existing electrical systems to improve safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Physical ability to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification preferred but not mandatory; relevant training or apprenticeships are welcome.
