About the role
As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will be at the heart of the guest experience. Working across our food and beverage areas, you will provide friendly, attentive and personal service while supporting your colleagues to keep every service running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and serving guests throughout the hotel with warmth, confidence and genuine care.
- Creating memorable guest experiences through natural conversation and thoughtful, personalised service.
- Developing a strong knowledge of our menus, drinks and promotions so you can make confident recommendations.
- Preparing and serving beverages to company standards, with excellent quality and presentation.
- Spotting opportunities to create small moments of delight that make a guest’s stay feel special.
- Keeping workstations, service areas and guest spaces clean, organised and beautifully presented.
- Responding to guest questions and requests professionally, positively and with a can-do attitude.
- Supporting the wider Food & Beverage team during busy periods to ensure an efficient and enjoyable service.
- Bringing your own personality to the floor while representing the warmth and reliability of the Holiday Inn brand.

- Previous experience in a similar Food & Beverage role, which is essential.
- Strong bar experience, which is preferred.
- A warm, engaging and confident personality.
- A genuine passion for looking after guests and creating memorable experiences.
- The confidence to build natural connections with a wide range of people.
- The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy hospitality environment.
- Positive energy and a proactive, hands-on approach.
- A reliable and supportive attitude, with a willingness to help colleagues when it matters most.
- A strong team spirit and the ability to work collaboratively during busy service periods.
- Pride in representing the Holiday Inn brand and delivering the IHG way of true hospitality.
