Duties
- Deliver high-quality barbering services, including haircuts, trims, and styling tailored to individual client preferences
- Engage with clients professionally, ensuring clear communication about their desired look and providing expert advice when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the barbering station and tools in accordance with health and safety standards
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times and optimise daily workflow
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling and barbering techniques through ongoing professional development
Experience
- Proven experience in customer service within a barbering or hairdressing environment is preferred
- Skilled in various hair styling techniques, including traditional barbering and modern trends
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse clients and team members
- Knowledge of English language for clear verbal communication and record keeping
- Previous experience in barbering or hair styling is advantageous but not essential if willing to undergo training
- Ability to work flexibly, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail at all times
