Worcester Wolves is seeking an experienced and ambitious Head Coach to lead Worcester Wolves Wheelchair Basketball and the High Performance Partnership with British Wheelchair Basketball (BWB).
Working with a talented group of elite Paralympic athletes, emerging talent and student-athletes, you will have the opportunity to shape a high-quality performance environment where athletes are supported to develop, perform and succeed.
At the heart of Worcester Wolves Wheelchair Basketball, you will lead an integrated coaching and performance support team, working closely with British Wheelchair Basketball and colleagues across the University to deliver an ambitious, inclusive and athlete-centred programme.
As Head Coach, you will provide the leadership and direction that brings the programme together, from the training environment through to longer-term athlete and team development. You will lead performance planning, training and competition preparation, working collaboratively with coaches, sport science, medical and performance support practitioners to ensure athletes receive high-quality, coordinated support.
A key part of the role will be working closely with BWB's performance team to optimise the development of GB Podium and Academy athletes, while creating clear opportunities for emerging and student-athletes to progress.
This is more than a courtside coaching role. It is an opportunity to influence the development of athletes, coaches and the wider programme, while playing an important role in the continued development of the partnership with British Wheelchair Basketball.
This is a part-time, fixed-term appointment of 12 hours per week until 30 June 2027.
For any informal queries about the role, please reach out to April White,
