Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up catering events, including arranging tables, serving stations, and necessary equipment.
- Support food preparation by organizing ingredients and helping with basic cooking tasks under supervision.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of all service areas, including clearing tables and sanitizing workspaces regularly.
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages or damages promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests alike.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy event times.
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, food service, or hospitality is a plus but not required—training will be provided!
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
- Ability to stay organized and manage time efficiently during fast-paced events.
- Willingness to learn about food handling safety standards and catering procedures.
- Friendly attitude with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Team player who works well with others and contributes positively to the work environment.
