We're looking for a motivated and reliable E-commerce & Warehouse Assistant to join our friendly, family-run business. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll split your time between our E-commerce, Sales and Warehouse Departments, giving you the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills. Working alongside our E-commerce Executive, you'll support the day-to-day running of our online stores, helping with website management, product updates, customer enquiries, order processing and general administration. You'll also work closely with our Warehouse Operatives, assisting with picking and packing orders, booking in deliveries, stock control and preparing orders for dispatch. No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety, is eager to learn and is happy to get involved wherever needed. As a small, growing business, every member of the team plays an important role, and you'll receive full training and ongoing support to help you succeed across both departments.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce & Office Support (Team of 3)
- Work alongside the E-commerce Executive to support the day-to-day running of our online stores.
- Upload, update and maintain product listings, including images, descriptions, specifications and pricing.
- Monitor and maintain website content, ensuring product information is accurate and up to date.
- Process customer orders and arrange shipments with courier companies.
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and live channels, providing excellent customer service.
- Assist with website updates, promotions and general e-commerce administration.
- Maintain accurate customer and product information across all online sales channels.
- Carry out general administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the department.
Warehouse Support (Team of 3–4)
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Receive, unload and book in deliveries, ensuring stock is checked and stored correctly.
- Replenish picking locations and assist with stock control and regular stock counts.
- Prepare parcels and pallets for collection by courier companies.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles where required.
- Help maintain a clean, organised and efficient warehouse environment.
- Ensure orders are packaged to a high standard to prevent damage during transit.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and carry out manual handling duties (up to 25kg).
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in e-commerce, administration, retail or a warehouse environment is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and support different areas of the business.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties (up to 25kg).
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Shopify, Amazon, eBay or other e-commerce platforms.
- Experience using warehouse or inventory management systems.
- Basic understanding of social media and digital marketing.
- Reach Truck or Counterbalance Forklift experience is advantageous but not essential.
