Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. The Delivery Driver will operate a van or similar vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Job description
The job you apply for usually pays £128 a day (excluding VAT) or £155 with VAT. Because with us, it's never enough. During the Christmas period, drivers get extra income, and we can always get more. Through our teamwork, everyone can receive additional bonuses. Please ask for more info about this.
Once you have completed the interview with our OSM (Managers on site), you will have to do a DBS check, when everything is completed we will book you for training ( training is also paid with £120/day ) and 1 days or Ride along ( you will go on a road with one of our experienced drivers and they will show you how to load, deliver and use our apps ). Once you have completed this, you will be given nursery-level routes with a percentage of your route to start with. Our job is nine hours, but obviously, once you finish your last parcel, you are done for the day.
Our vans are all Ford Transits, but we also have some rentals. You will NOT be charged for vans and fuel. Also very important: all our vans will be taken from our depot and returned to the car park after your route is completed, leaving the car park friendly and tidy for the next day.

What Is Required To Be Part Of Our Team:
- Be fit, customer-focused, and self-motivated.
- Have good spoken and written English
- Have no more than three penalty points on their current Driving Licence
- Have no endorsements on their license in relation to offence codes - CD40, CD50, CD60, CD70, CD80, CD90, DD40, DD60, DD80, DD90, DR10, DR20, DR30, DR40, DR50, DR60, DR70, DR80, DR90, IN10, MS50, UT50, TT99
- Be required to complete and pass a CRB check upon induction, paid for by Aston Core LTD
- Six months of multi-drop experience is preferred but not essential.
- Be able to commute to and from the depot in Norwich
You will need to bring the following documents:
- Driving Licence (with no more than 6 points) and be over 21
- National Insurance Number
- Right to Work Documents (Passport, ID CARD or Birth Certificate)
- Proof of address (no more than 3 months old)
- UTR Number for self-employed
- VAT Reg number if VAT registered
