We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, and vacuuming carpets.
- Restock room supplies such as toiletries, linens, and refreshments.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
- Ensure public areas are kept clean and tidy, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, ensuring that all linens are cleaned and pressed to perfection.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar hospitality role, preferably in 4*/5* hotels.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and security protocols.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically able to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
