As Ruby's Newquay continues to grow, we're looking for enthusiastic, friendly and energetic Parlour Assistants to join our amazing team.

The Role
As a Parlour Assistant, you'll play an important role in delivering the exceptional customer experience Ruby's is known for. From welcoming customers with a smile to preparing beautifully presented treats, you'll help make every visit memorable.
We offer flexible shifts across weekdays, weekends and evenings, with our latest summer closing shifts finishing at approximately 10:30pm.
What You'll Be Doing
- Greeting every customer with a warm, friendly welcome.
- Scooping and serving our luxury Cornish ice cream.
- Preparing milkshakes, sundaes, speciality coffees and other menu favourites.
- Taking customer orders and processing payments.
- Keeping displays fully stocked, clean and beautifully presented.
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
- Restocking products and assisting with deliveries.
- Helping keep the parlour organised during busy service.
- Working as part of a fun, supportive team.
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who are:

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and available to work weekends and evening shifts.
- Great team players with a positive attitude.
Previous experience in hospitality, retail, cafés or customer service is helpful but not essential—full training will be provided for the right person.
