Job Description:
SIPS Industries Ltd – was formed in 2000 and is a market leading kit manufacturer using Structurally Insulated Panel systems.
We design, manufacture and erect Kits for homes all over the UK. We are currently going through a period of growth and have opportunities for you to join our team.
We are looking for semi-skilled operatives and general labourers to join our multi skilled team at our production facilities in Dalgety Bay.
Area of possible duties.
· Laminating the EPS and pressing with the OSB sheets to form panels.
· Cutting the panels and scooping the insulation by hand or assisting in the operation of our CNC machine.
· Cutting timbers to be integrated with the panels in our kits and also for stud partitions.
· Cutting – Joists and Glulam's etc to be installed with our kits.
· Assembling our kits and stud partitions in readiness for loading and delivering to our customers.
Training can be provided to suitably motivated individuals.
Rate negotiable based on level of experience.
Responsibilities - ( depending on skill level )
· Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure safe performance.
· Follow production schedules and adhere to quality control standards.
· Conduct routine inspections of machinery and report any issues to supervisors.
· Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety protocols.
· Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
· Document production activities accurately in compliance with company policies.
Skills – ( Training will be provided )
· Good attendance and time keeping
· Ability to read production drawings.
· Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
· Good communication skills for effective teamwork.
· Basic mechanical aptitude for operating machinery and equipment.
· Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
· Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and schedules.
