Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated A level Economics tutor to inspire and guide students through their advanced economics studies. Duties
- Deliver engaging and personalized tutoring sessions focused on A level Economics curriculum content
- Clarify complex economic concepts such as supply and demand, market structures, macroeconomic policies, and international trade
- Develop tailored lesson plans that align with students’ individual learning needs and exam requirements
- Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
- Prepare students for exams by teaching effective study techniques, time management, and exam strategies
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for development
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching A level Economics or related subjects
- Strong understanding of economic theories, models, and current global economic issues
- Experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and engagingly
- Knowledge of special education needs (SEN) is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to motivate students and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
