Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Event Staff to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest services at a variety of events, including , sporting events, corporate functions, and social gatherings. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, well-presented, and capable of delivering a memorable experience for all attendees. Prior experience in hospitality or catering is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidates. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the events and hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and ensure they are comfortably seated or directed to appropriate areas
- Assist with food and beverage service, including serving meals, drinks, and snacks in accordance with food safety standards
- Set up event spaces according to specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, and equipment
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the event
- Support catering staff with food preparation and presentation as required
- Ensure guest safety by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
- Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist with pack-down procedures after events, including clearing tables and packing away equipment
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Experience in guest services or event support roles will be beneficial
- A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during special events as required

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
