About Shrub
Shrub is a produce wholesaler rooted in British agriculture and chef-driven sourcing. Working directly with over 60 market gardens and farms, Shrub is reviving the supply chains of old - focusing on seasonality, quality, regionality, and soil health. We are fully transparent and pragmatic in our sourcing, bridging the needs of a kitchen with the practicalities of a farm. We are a small, values-led team passionate about building a fairer food system.
We are looking for Full-Time Order Packers that will assist the Warehouse manager with:
- Order Fulfilment.
- Stock organisation.
- Organisation and efficiency.
- Food Safety Mandates. (SALSA).
- Quality control of goods in/out.
Every member of the Shrub team is a key part of who we are, so we choose our people carefully. We are looking for someone with the following qualities:
- High level work ethic.
- Sense of humour.
- Can-Do attitude.
- Reliable.
Less important, but desirable experience in/with:
- HACCP and/or Food safety systems.
- Forklift ticket.
- Warehousing.
- Within a food business whether farming, logistics, cooking or service.
MUST HAVE:
- Right to work.
- Usable grasp of English language.
JOB INFORMATION:
Expected Hours - 30-40 hours a week.
Working week - Monday to Thursday (Afternoon into Evening)
