Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Perform cleaning duties across commercial and industrial spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Ensure waste disposal is handled efficiently and recycling procedures are followed
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively, adhering to company guidelines
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning routines
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure thorough cleaning of all designated areas
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage is a plus but not essential
