We are looking for a Senior Care Assistants/Team Leader for our Rehabilitation Centre in Bagshot
This is a full-time role (38.5 hours per week) following a 3/4-day rotating shift pattern over a two-week rota, with flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
£14.42 - £14.92 per hour | Full-time | Permanent
Are you an exceptional Team Leader who can oversee and guide our Healthcare Assistants in our Rehabilitation Centre in Bagshot, Surrey.

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day healthcare needs of our residents, with added leadership responsibilities. Your team will look to you for guidance, support, and reassurance. You’ll be the calm and steady presence in what can sometimes be a fast-paced environment, making sure that everyone is working together to deliver the best care possible.
In addition to overseeing the care team, you’ll contribute to person-centred assessments, care planning, and reviews, while assisting with medicine administration and providing leadership in emergency situations.
We’re looking for someone with experience as a Team Leader and has the passion and leadership skills to bring our new home to life.
Role/Job Purpose - Duties will include:
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents’ families, friends, advocates, and neighbours.
- In conjunction with the Home Manager/Nurse-in-Charge, establish and regularly review care practice standards in the Home.
- Undertake direct care tasks as necessary together with Health Care Assistants (HCAs) to ensure tasks are carried out in an appropriate manner and participate in shift working.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, in line with policies and regulations, and support HCAs with medication-related guidance.
- Provide complex clinical care as required, including tracheostomy management, PEG feeding, catheter care, and other advanced interventions.
- Provide daily supervision and support to HCAs working with you.
- Contribute to the documentation, care planning, and assessment of care needs for residents; participate in the implementation, review, and evaluation of residents’ care plans and risk assessments.
- Participate in the development, training, and supervision of junior staff to ensure high standards of care across the team.
Qualifications:
- Experience is required and the desire and passion to work with vulnerable people needing your care and attention is essential.
- Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent NVQ/QCF L3 (or equivalent recognised qualification or experience)
